          Sidebags in rear The sidebags in the rear can protect the chest area of passengers on the outer rear seats in the event of a severe side impact.           Pre-installation for Remote Parking Assist With the valet app, you can conveniently get in and out of the parking space. The system manoeuvres your Mercedes in and out automatically. You monitor the parking process from the outside and can control it via smartphone. This makes parking significantly more relaxed and minor damage caused by opening doors can be avoided [5][6]
          MAYBACH driving mode In addition to the DYNAMIC SELECT ECO, SPORT, OFFROAD and INDIVIDUAL driving modes, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV also has the special MAYBACH mode. It replaces the classic COMFORT program and is designed to provide maximum ride comfort for the rear passengers. It ensures that only minimal body movements occur under the rear seats. A vibration node is installed here to minimise the amplitude of suspension vibrations. The MAYBACH drive program is the default setting.
          Rear axle steering The standard rear axle steering with 4.5° steering angle adjustment offers you three advantages at once: even more superior road grip, significantly increased agility and, last but not least, better manoeuvrability, for example, when parking. For this, the rear wheels steer in the opposite or the same direction as the front wheels depending on the vehicle speed. With the optional rear axle steering, the rear wheels can be routed by up to 10 degrees[1]. This significantly reduces the turning circle. Your car almost handles like a compact car when manoeuvring. At higher speeds, on the other hand, you drive with the effortless superiority afforded by the long-wheelbase.
          Driving Assistance Package Plus Enjoy the benefits of partially automated driving. Systems such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC or Active Blind Spot Assist can support you in the right situation, warn you if there is a risk of collision and intervene if necessary. The intelligently networked sensor system uses cameras, radar and ultrasound to register your vehicle's surroundings.[1]
          AIRMATIC The AIRMATIC air suspension offers an outstanding ride even over difficult ground. The level of the vehicle varies in line with the speed. This can increase the range when driving at speed. Practical: automatic level control according to load. At the touch of a button, you can also extend the ground clearance by up to 25 mm.
